The plain-language agreement for using Popkins, including in-app purchase terms.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legal agreement between you and Popkins (“we”, “us”) governing your use of the Popkins app (bundle ID com.Popkins.app) and this website. By downloading, installing, or using Popkins, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. License (EULA)

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Popkins on devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial use, and subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.

You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the app.
  • Distribute, sell, rent, or sublicense the app.
  • Use the app in any unlawful way or to harm others.

3. Age Requirement & Adult Supervision

Popkins is intended for use by children ages 2–6 under the supervision of a parent or guardian. An adult must set up the app and supervise its use.

All purchases require an adult. Any in-app purchase must be initiated and confirmed by an adult who is the account holder and authorized to make the purchase. A parental gate (an adult-only challenge) protects purchases, settings, and any external links. By making a purchase, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and authorized to use the payment method.

4. In-App Purchases

Popkins may offer optional in-app purchases (for example, removing house promotion or unlocking additional content). These purchases are processed and billed by Apple via StoreKit or Google via Google Play Billing, not directly by us. Prices are shown before purchase and may vary by region.

Purchases are tied to your store account and can be restored on devices using that same account. To restore, open the app, pass the parental gate, and choose Restore Purchases.

5. Refunds

Because purchases are processed by the app stores, refunds are handled according to Apple's and Google's refund policies. Please request refunds directly through the store you purchased from. If you need help, email support@popkins.app.

6. Intellectual Property

Popkins, including its name, mascot, artwork, sounds, and software, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding except as needed to use the app as intended.

7. Disclaimers

Popkins is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet every educational expectation. The app is an educational supplement, not a substitute for adult guidance.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) Popkins. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of Popkins after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
