The Popkins Parents' Guide
Everything you need to set up, manage, and feel great about your child's playtime.
How the parental gate works
Before anyone can reach settings, make a purchase, or open an external link, Popkins shows a quick math challenge that only an adult can solve (for example, a two-number multiplication). This keeps little fingers safely inside the play area.
- ✓Required before any in-app purchase
- ✓Required before opening any link that leaves the app
- ✓Required before changing app settings
- ✓No way for a child to bypass it accidentally

Kids can't pass this without an adult — it guards settings, purchases & links.
Managing screen time
Popkins has no streaks, notifications, or pressure to keep playing — but you stay in control with your device's built-in tools.
Apple Screen Time
- Open Settings → Screen Time.
- Tap App Limits → Add Limit.
- Choose Education (or select Popkins) and set a daily limit.
- Use Downtime to schedule quiet hours.
Google Family Link
- Open the Family Link app and pick your child.
- Tap Controls → App limits.
- Find Popkins and set a daily time limit.

Purchases & support
Popkins contains no advertising of any kind — no third-party ads, no house ads, no cross-promotion. The only purchase in the app is an optional one-time Premium unlock ($3.99) for additional levels, accessed through a parental math gate.
